The Region of Western Greece is one of the 13 regions of Greece.
It is the secondary local government organization covering the northwestern part of the Peloponnese and the west of Central Greece.
It occupies an area of 11,336 sq. Km. and its population is, according to the 2011 census, at 679,796 inhabitants. Largest city and capital is Patras.
